About Camp STAR:

We are a camp for children ages 8-17 years old that have experienced the death of a loved one, parent, sibling, friend, grandparents. Camp is a weekend long. You can plan on the fun camp experiences along with meaningful activities that help you understand you are not alone on this journey.  You will find applications for both campers and volunteers under the resources tab.  Once completed, there are instructions for mailing them in for review by Camp STAR staff.

Thank you to others we have recently received grants from to continue our worthwhile progamming for grieving children.

STAR Children's Bereavement Services has recently received grants of varrying amounts from Bell Auxillary, Marquette Breakfast Rotary and the Superior Health Foundation.  We feel very blessed to have such amazing support from our community, so that we can continue to offer all of the services we provide to grieving children free of charge!  We are always looking for new and innovative grant opportunities to apply for funding, so that we can continue to serve the vulnerable population of grieving children and families without having them think twice about being able to participate due to financial issues!

Camp STAR is the primary program of STAR Children's Bereavement Services, A 501(c)(3), not for profit organization that relies solely on donations. If you are able to make a donation we will be very grateful, as will the children who's life will be forever changed.
